In the U8-Open group, Shogdzhiev(FID) won against his opponent after a good pawn sacrifice and taking initiative. He remains the only player with perfect score in U8-Open group. In the U8-Girls group, second seed player Kokareva(FID) and Rzadkowska(POL) has beaten their opponents and sharing the leadership with perfect score.
In the U10-Open group, 4 Turkish players played in the first 2 boards. In the first board, there was a hard struggle in the game and it ended with a draw after 53 moves. In the second board, Celebi(TUR) managed to get a win against Unsal(TUR) and also Gabadadze(GEO) joins these 3 players in the leadership with 4,5 points. In the U10-Girls group, Lampou(GRE) and Mirzaliyeva(AZE) are leading their category with perfect score.
In the U12-Open group, 5 players are sharing the leadership with 4,5 points. In the U12-Girls group, Preobrazhenskaya(FID) beat her opponent and take the sole leader with 4,5 points. In the U14-Open group, first seed IM Gurel(TUR) had a wonderful victory with black pieces and took the sole leadership with perfect score. In the U14-Girls group, the sole leader WFM Kleymenova(FID) got another victory to remain with perfect score.
In the U16-Open group, FM Macias(ESP) and FM Falkevall(SWE) has faced for the leadership. FM Macias(ESP) took advantage in the opening and he managed to win the game with his aggressive play. In the U16-Girls group, WFM Schippke is the only player with perfect score after 5 rounds.
There was exciting games in the U18-Open group. FM Popov(FID) and FM Tsvetkov(FID) have faced in the first board. It ended with a draw after solid plays from two opponents. IM Gharibyan(ARM) managed to win with black pieces and joins the leadership with 4,5 points. In the U18-Girls group, WIM Mkrtchyan(ARM) and WIM Hryzlova(UKR) won their games and take the lead with 4,5 points.
