Closing Ceremony
Ekran görüntüsü 2022-11-14 2108352022 European Youth Chess Championship came to an end after the closing ceremony held today. The closing ceremony of the championship was attended by FIDE President Arkady Dvorkovich, ECU President Zurab Azmaiparashvili, ECU Board of Directors, TCF President Gulkiz Tulay and TCF Board of Directors, Provincial Director of Antalya Youth and Sports Yavuz Gurhan, Rector of AKEV University Prof. Dr. Kamile Percin Akgul, Rector of Antalya Science University İsmail Yuksek, players, parents and many guests attended.

Final Time
WhatsApp Image 2022-11-13 at 20.42.29After many days with fierce battles finally we have come to the end of the championship. Today was the penultimate eighth round in Antalya and it has proved to be a decisive one in many categories.

In the U8-Open group, Llari(FRA) has beaten his opponent and leading his category with one point up before going into the last round. In the U8-Girls group, the unbeatable player Kokareva(FID) earnt another victory today and secured the first place before playing the last round.

Round 7 - Report
eycc22Today was the seventh day of 2022 European Youth Chess Championship and players will play two more rounds to clarify the champions.

In the U8-Open group, Llari(FRA) faced with Uzdemir(TUR) in first board. Llari(FRA) got a clear advantage in the opening phase and he got a fast win with his aggressive style. Llari(FRA) is the sole leader of his group with 6,5 points. In the U8-Girls group, Kokareva(FID) continues her dominance in her group. She got another victory and has a perfect score with two rounds to go.

In the U10-Open group, Yilmaz(TUR) managed to beat his opponent to stay in the leadership with 6,5 points. In the U10-Girls group, Lampou(GRE) and Mirzaliyeva(AZE) have won their matches and sharing the leadership with 6,5 points.

In the U12-Open group, Ahmad(AZE) has won with the white pieces and became the sole leader of his group. In the U12-Girls group, the sole leader Preobrazhenskaya(FID) has beaten his opponent with black pieces and increased the point difference to one with two rounds to go.
